David Samadi has completed his post-graduate training in general surgery at Montefiore Medical Centre and in urology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Centre. He also attended an oncology fellowship in urology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and a robotic radical prostatectomy fellowship at Henri Mondor Hospital Creteil in France. Until now, David Samadi along with his second family, his team, has performed countless successful operations and saved precious lives and families. As an expert on robotic surgery, Dr Samadi developed his own treatment called SMART Surgery. From day one, he personally takes care of each patient as he educates and supports every step of the way.

‘Mann about town’ is a publication about Dr David Samadi’s brief summary of his bio and work. Being one of the few urologic surgeons in the United States trained in oncology, open surgery, laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery. The reasons why Dr David Samadi launched this publication was to draw attention to the fact that in our daily life prostate cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in men after skin cancer and it is the second leading cause of cancer death in men after lung cancer.
Dr Samadi investigated the relationships between clinic pathologic variables across racial and socioeconomic lines following robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy. Longitudinal studies report racial disparities in prostate cancer (PCa) including greater incidence, more aggressive tumor biology, and increased cancer-specific mortality in African American (AA) men. Regret concerning primary treatment selection is under evaluated in patients with PCa. The conclusions made regarding about this subject are all described in this publication.
